Lies

You should know the last post was a lie. I don't intend to fix anything anytime soon.

Nobody visits here and, even if they did, I don't bother to keep up with my stats. I haven't logged into my control panel in quite literally 18 months.

I'm still alone. I had a little stint but it didn't quite go the way I planned (which is par for the course as far as singles are concerned, as I understand it), but I don't have any prospects lined up.

I've come to terms with me wanting to fuck my friends, but that doesn't really help me because none of my friends want to have sex with me.

My lack of posting it due to not really having anything interesting to say anymore. I realized that it's not so much that I don't have an eventful life, which, while true, isn't the core. The thing is, when I started my journal and my Yonphi pen name I had 22 years of history to summarize and provide wonderful insight towards and I just ran out of steam. It's been, oh, 16 months since I last posted anything. How many memories do I have in 16 months? Not a whole lot. But maybe I have give an entertaining couple of weeks of posts.

Or not. Who knows. My motivation is about as strong as my charisma.

Whoops

Sorry, I accidentally upgraded my Blogger account. Now the page doesn't work right. You can't see anything before the last 10 posts. I'll probably get around to fixing it soon.

Also, I've got a bit of a surprise coming. I want to say more but I think I won't because since I know what it is, I'll tell you it's not that amazing or fantastic. But it's kinda nice, if you're me.

Yep.

You're right. I haven't written in a while. I haven't added to the supplement in a while, either.

"He and his colleagues at Duke found that 50 percent of patients with heart disease who did not have a spouse or someone to confide in died within five years, while 18 percent of those who did have a confidant died. "

...

Oh dear.

Captain Obvious

"It's an extension of both porn and online dating," said Ian Kerner, a Ph.D. and author of "DSI: Date Scene Investigation: The Diagnostic Manual of Dating Disorders," "where the two meet.

"I think our culture is autophobic — where we're afraid to be alone. You can imagine technology as a real enabler, filling our time and protecting us from those feelings of loneliness. The flip side is you can lose yourself in it," Kerner said.

404

I'm shocked nobody's said anything about my 404 page. :)

Risky sex more likely for young men with positive body images

Well... duh.

While sexually active students reported less dissatisfaction with their looks and a more positive body image on average, "it's important to point out that we don't know which comes first," Lefkowitz said. People who feel better about their looks may be more likely to have sex, or being sexually active may confer a better body image, she explained.

Whatever these researchers are charging, I'll do it for half the price and give you a straight up answer.

(I need a rolling eyes graphical icon.)
